“Li-Air and Li-Sulfur Technology in an Automotive System Context“
Tom Greszler manages the Electrochemical Cell Design group within the Electrochemical Energy Research Laboratory in GM Research and Development. He received a BS in 2003 in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a MS in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2004. He joined General Motors in 2005 and worked on understanding and improving fuel cell technology. In 2010 he took on leadership of the Electrochemical Cell Design group which provides fuel cell and battery cell modeling to support system design, cost trade-offs, fundamental understanding and improved performance/durability with the ultimate goal of enabling better, more cost effective, electric vehicles. In 2012, he earned an MBA from the University of Rochester. He works in the GM R&D center located in Honeoye Falls, NY.
